Frequently Asked Questions
Got a question? You’re probably not the only one! Here are answers to the most common things I get asked before appointments.
How do I book in?
To book in just give me a message on Instagram, email me or pop into the shop. Once we've had a chat you'll be sent a link which has all the information you will need, from deposit forms to aftercare.
How much will my tattoo cost?
Pricing depends on the size, placement, and detail of your design. I’ll give you a quote once we’ve discussed your idea.
A £100 deposit is required for day sessions, or 50% of the quote for smaller pieces.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! You can split payments using Klarna or Clearpay. Just make sure you fill in the booking and deposit forms first, then use the link on the booking page to complete your Klarna or Clearpay payment.
(For Klarna or clear pay I do add a charge so please let me know if you'll be using either of these options)
What’s your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance.
Less than 48 hours’ notice or a no-show = you lose your deposit.
You’re always welcome to rebook with a new deposit.
Do I need ID?
Yes, you must be 18 or over to get tattooed, and you’ll need to bring a valid photo ID (passport or driver’s licence) on the day.
Can I use numbing cream?
No, I don’t recommend numbing creams as they can affect your skin and how the ink heals.
You’ll be more comfortable if you eat beforehand and stay hydrated.
What aftercare do you recommend?
You’ll get full aftercare instructions at your appointment, but I recommend using Palmer’s Cocoa Butter (original) and following either the cling film or second skin method depending on what we use.
You can also view the aftercare information here.
Can I bring someone with me?
I work one-on-one to keep the space calm and focused. Please come alone unless you need someone with you, just let me know beforehand.
Where do I park?
There’s free parking on the road outside the studio, just a short walk from the studio. You’ll find directions on the Getting Here page.
Will I see my design before the appointment?
Designs are created in the lead-up to your appointment and shown to you on the day. This keeps the process personal, avoids copying, and allows for last-minute tweaks together in the studio.
What if I feel unwell on the day?
Please don’t come to the studio if you’re feeling ill, even with mild symptoms. Your health (and mine) comes first, and we’ll reschedule.
Still unsure about something?
No problem, just send me a message on Instagram or email and I’ll be happy to help!
